How to become a Certified Professional Oganizer®

I am often asked, "After completing your training course will I be a Certified Professional Organizer®?" The short answer is no. The long answer is, you will receive a “Certificate of Professional Development and Attendance”. Self-study participants receive the designation of Professional Organizer Training Institute™ trained . Seminar participants receive the designation of Professional Organizer Training Institute™ certified . However this does not give you the designation of Certified Professional Organizer® or CPO® (see below). Seminar Client Practicum Experience

These four brave women L-R Marcia (CO), Kelly (CO), Wendy (OR) and Cristin (WA) endured SNOW, RAIN, WIND, BITTER COLD to organize a garage for their client practicum project last week. The client made smart and courageous decisions and released 90% of what was on her garage floor and another 20% on the shelves (we didn't get to everything).
